too much turkey...

already with the turkey people!! yesterday was monkey's turkey fest at school. they were sooo cute! little pilgrims and indians. (my camera is still broken or i would post pix) then a whole turkey feast. yum!

today was big c's turkey fest. not so cute middle schoolers running around and being insane because a long holiday is coming. still had to eat turkey. thank goodness my mother in law makes a ham for thanksgiving!! but we had the most AWESOME dessert ever. it's pumpkin pie cake. try it. i guarantee you will love it. and if not, i will come and finish it for you!

did i mention that big c makes all the desserts for the holidays? he makes pumpkin pie, pecan pie and this year he is attempting a cheesecake.

1 (15oz) can solid pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk

Yellow cake mix? I'm so there! Yummmmmmmmmy.

I have never made a turkey. Not ever. Seems way too grown up. Not going to change this year, although I just BOUGHT my first turkey. My BIL deep fries turkeys all day long every year and Jon thinks we need a crispy bird. How Homer can you get?

Happy Thanksgivng Kay!!! Have a wonderful week with your great family!
